Privacy notice
This notice covers the Event Guardian product website and its contact form. It does not describe processing within an individually deployed Event Guardian event application. Updated: 1 October 2026.

2. Website delivery and security
The website runs on our own servers hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. Access requires processing technical connection data, including the IP address, time, requested address and technical information supplied by the browser. Technical logs may be produced for operation, troubleshooting and security analysis.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is reliable and secure website delivery. Technical data is required only for as long as necessary for operation, troubleshooting and investigating security incidents.
3. Contact and demo requests
When you submit the form, we process your name, organisation, email address, event type, expected visitor count if provided, message and acknowledgement of the privacy notice. Required fields are intended for handling your request; the form cannot be submitted without them.
Your request is sent to our server, stored in our internal Strapi system and forwarded to us by email for handling. Access is limited to people handling the request and necessary hosting and email service providers. The information is not displayed publicly.
Requests concerning a potential contract are processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding. The form acknowledgement confirms that you have taken note of this notice.
We retain enquiries for as long as required to handle them and maintain necessary records. They are then deleted unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate reasons require further retention.
4. Content and local storage
The product website does not embed analytics or advertising trackers. Images, fonts and videos are delivered through the website. Unsubmitted form inputs remain in the open page's memory; they are not stored as a conversation history or in a user account. No automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects takes place.
5. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
